When God and science disagree, listen to the one that knows all things

The scriptures are full of prophecies that have come to pass, and prophecies that will yet come to pass. I recently read a prophesy by Heber C Kimball made about 140 years ago that has begun to be fulfilled in our day. Just as Christ said in old days, not a jot or tittle of the law and the prophets will pass away, but will all be fulfilled.

God knows the distant future in every detail. He tells us about parts of it, and we know his prophesies are all fulfilled. Science cannot predict the weather 2 weeks from today. We should trust a God who knows all things about the distant past more than we trust those sciences that can’t decide whether it will be rain or shine in 14 days. God knows what the weather will be every day from here to eternity. And when the rains fall he perceives each drop and knows its time and place of landing. He knows the fate of every man, and he knows the history of worlds yet unborn.

When God and science disagree about the past, the present, or the future, let us listen to the one who knows all things.
