Programs are not revelations. Revelations are revelations.

Programs are not revelations. Revelations are revelations.

This is not meant to be a criticism of those who invent church programs. Simply a statement that we should know the difference between the two.

We should understand the weight of words.

We should know the weight of that voice that declared “Let there be light” and there was light.

It is OK to have programs. I don’t really care for them, myself, because they take a life of their own, and too easily supplant the revelations to suite my taste. But the Lord certainly allows us to create them as we see fit. We are welcome to create them and enjoy them as we see fit.

But it is dangerous when the people mistake programs for revelations.

So I repeat a simple, mostly lost, truth.

Programs are not revelations. Revelations are revelations.

Todays program will be forgotten tomorrow.

But the words of God will stand ages from now.

Programs are not revelations. Revelations are revelations.
